Hi there, I recently herniated a disc in my low back (L5) and certain movements with my right leg are causing excruciating pain. I'm receiving treatment, but in the meantime I need to figure out how to get up from a sleeping position without it hurting so bad. I can kind of slide out of bed when laying on my stomach, but if I try laying on my back like I'm supposed to, it takes me at least half an hour to roll over without excruciating pain and be able to push myself up with my arms. Anyone have tips? I've never had mobility issues before so this is a bit overwhelming.
@painBgone Hi there, we're sorry to hear you're experiencing mobility issues as a result of your pain. Have you considered speaking to a licensed medical professional? Someone like a physiotherapist, chiropractor, occupational therapist etc. may be able to provide you with help based on your individualized needs and situation.
